Postpartum Support

The postpartum season brings profound changes in physical, emotional, mental, and relational well-being. While motherhood can be filled with joy, it can also bring unexpected challenges, overwhelming emotions, and feelings of isolation.

Our eight-week postpartum support program will provide a welcoming space for mothers to connect, gain practical tools, and better understand the changes that follow life Beyond Birth. Through evidence-based education, meaningful conversation, mothers are equipped and encouraged to prepare for the postpartum journey ahead.

What To Expect

Motherhood brings changes that extend far beyond the physical recovery from childbirth. Our eight-week postpartum support program creates space for mothers to better understand these changes, share their experiences, and develop practical tools for navigating life Beyond Birth.

Our goal is not to tell mothers how they should experience postpartum, but to provide education, connection, and compassionate support as they navigate their own journey.

• Physical Recovery & Healing:
Understanding postpartum changes, recovery, and the importance of caring for your body.

• Emotional & Mental Well-Being:
Recognizing emotional changes, postpartum anxiety, and the challenges of adjusting to motherhood.

• Sleeping, Feeding & the Mental Load:
Navigating exhaustion, feeding decisions, and the often-unseen responsibilities of caring for a baby.

• Identity & Relationships:
Exploring changes in personal identity, partnerships, expectations, and social support.

• Coping & Connection:
Building practical coping skills, strengthening support systems, and finding encouragement through shared experiences.

Throughout the program, participants will explore topics including:

Eight Weeks of Education, Connection, & Support

How the Program Works

Each weekly session will be approximately 1 ½ hours and will combine evidence-based psychoeducation, guided group discussion, practical coping strategies, and opportunities for meaningful connection with other mothers.

The program will be facilitated by Marcie Smith, LPC-A, who is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the transition into motherhood.
